SMS opt-in

Last updated July 27, 2026

CoachPulse is a scheduling platform, built and operated by HenzelDev, that independent youth sports coaches use to run their own training booking pages. This page describes how and when a parent or guardian opts in to receive text messages through CoachPulse.

Where opt-in happens

When a parent books a session on a coach's CoachPulse booking page (for example, coachpulse.henzeldev.com/book/<coach>), the last step of the booking form asks how they'd like to be contacted about that booking: email, text message, or both. Choosing "text" or "email and text" reveals a checkbox that must be checked before the booking can be submitted. The checkbox is unchecked by default — opt-in is never assumed.

Exact consent language

The checkbox next to the phone number field reads, verbatim:

I agree to receive text messages from [Coach's organization] via CoachPulse about my booking (confirmations, reminders, and session recaps). Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.

"[Coach's organization]" is filled in with the specific coach or training organization's name at booking time, since each coach on CoachPulse operates their own independent booking page.

What gets sent

Only transactional messages tied to a specific booking: a confirmation when the booking is made, a reminder ahead of the session, and a post-session recap. CoachPulse does not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. A parent can also switch their contact preference back to email the next time they book. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for more detail.
